- In re Brown, 631 B.R. 77 (Bankr. S.D. Fla. 2021). A court decision in South Florida that created a framework for bifurcation of fees in chapter 7 bankruptcies. Eugene successfully argued for the ability to file for chapter 7 bankruptcy without having to fully pay attorneys fees prior to the filing of a case. The decision provides individuals with greater access to the bankruptcy courts.
